Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored only in hashed form, so we can't read them. We also record the invitation code used to create the account.
• What you save in CycleIQ: your watchlist and your email preferences.
• Billing details, once paid plans launch: your plan, billing history and the last four digits of your card. Card numbers are handled by a third-party payment processor and never stored by us.
• Technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, and server logs of requests, kept for security and to keep the service running.
• Messages you send us, such as support emails.

We don't collect financial account numbers, brokerage logins or your actual holdings. A watchlist is whatever companies you choose to save.

2. How we use it

• to create and secure your account and sign you in;
• to provide CycleIQ, including your watchlist;
• to send the emails you choose, such as watchlist alerts and the monthly digest, and essential account and billing messages;
• to answer your questions;
• to understand, in aggregate, how CycleIQ is used, so we can improve it;
• to prevent fraud and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.

3. What we don't do

We don't sell your personal information or share it for advertising. We don't show ads, and we don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Your watchlist is private to you.

4. Who we share it with

Only these, and only as needed:

• Service providers that run parts of CycleIQ for us, such as hosting, email delivery and payment processing, under contracts that limit their use of your information to providing those services.
• Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.
• A buyer or successor, if Jugaad Analytics, Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. This policy would continue to apply to your information.

5. Cookies

CycleIQ uses only the essential cookies that keep you signed in. They're needed for the service to work. We don't use analytics or advertising cookies. If we ever add analytics, we'll update this policy first.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your account information while your account is open. If you close it, we delete your personal information within 30 days, and copies in our backups are overwritten within a further 90 days. We keep billing records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Published readings and aggregate statistics contain no personal information and are kept.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, passwords are hashed, and access to our systems is restricted to the people who need it. No service can promise perfect security; if a breach affects your information, we'll tell you as the law requires.

8. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or give you a copy. Email [email protected] from the address on your account and we'll respond within 45 days. We may need to confirm your identity first. You can turn alert and digest emails off at any time in your settings or from the link in any such email; essential account and billing messages continue while your account is open.

Depending on where you live, including California, Virginia, Colorado and other states with privacy laws, you may have further rights. We honor these requests wherever you live, and we won't treat you differently for making one.

9. Children

CycleIQ is not for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Where your data is kept

CycleIQ is run from the United States, and your information is stored and processed there.

11. Changes to this policy

If we make a material change, we'll tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect, and update the date at the top of this page.
